Study Permit Application and School Enrollment

Brief Description of the Service

A study permit is a document that allows foreign nationals to study at Designated Learning Institutions (DLI) in Canada. This permit is required for educational programs at all levels, ranging from diploma certificates to doctoral degrees. Study permits are generally issued for the duration of the study program, plus an additional 90 days. This extra time allows students to prepare to leave Canada, apply for a permit extension, or change their status—for example, to become an international worker.

Before completing and submitting a study permit application, prospective students must first enroll in a Designated Learning Institution. The study permit is granted based on admission to such an institution. Enrollment involves a separate application directed toward the selected educational institution, through which the prospective international student seeks admission.

What We Do

  • Initial Immigration Consultation: During our first meeting we will focus on understanding your circumstances, objectives, and any concerns you may have about the immigration process. We will provide a detailed walkthrough of the application stages, timelines, and expectations. We will also ask you for your immigration-related information and documentation and, if you also would like us to assist you with a university/college enrollment, determine what program you prefer to study, what your budget is, and what educational institution options are available.

  • School Enrollment: Having understood your situation, we will suggest several educational institution options for you to pick. We will assist you with our expert advice and help so you can make the best possible choice that works for you. Once you decide, we will contact the institution to officially start the enrollment process for you. It will involve separate document collection and payment to the educational institution itself.

  • Document Preparation and Collection: One of the most daunting aspects of immigration is the extensive documentation required. We will provide you with a tailored checklist and then assist you in gathering and organizing all necessary documents. This includes identifying and resolving any issues with document eligibility, ensuring every piece of paperwork adheres to IRCC's strict standards.

  • Profile Creation in the IRCC System: We will take the information that has been gathered and accurately set up your profile with IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada). This technical step is crucial, as mistakes here can lead to delays or refusals. We ensure that your profile is a precise reflection of your circumstances, completed in a manner that meets the IRCC criteria.

  • Application Filling, Review, and Submission: This step involves several sub-steps. We will:

    • Fill out all necessary forms on your behalf, ensuring no errors or omissions that could jeopardize your application.

    • Cross-verify all the information provided to ensure its accuracy and completeness.

    • Act as your legal representative with IRCC, which includes preparing a representative form and submitting your application package.

    • Communicate with you regularly about the status and provide clear instructions for any next steps (e.g., biometrics).

  • Post-Submission Communication and Monitoring: After your application is submitted, our support continues. We will:

    • Monitor your application's status, providing you with updates at each stage.

    • Be the point of contact for any communication from IRCC, ensuring queries or requests for additional information are handled swiftly and accurately to avoid delays.
